From the makers of luxury ovens and ranges, La Cornue has commissioned these carving boards made by French Woodcraft Artisans. 
 
The Carving Board is made of European Hornbeam wood, a rare type of wood that naturally eliminates bacteria and is extremely hard and durable. The board is grooved and slighly angled to allow juices to flow into it's stainless steel bowl. Each La Cornue cutting board is embellished with a leather La Cornue seal secured by square head nails.
 
This carving board will last a lifetime with proper care:Certain conditions may cause the wood to shrink or expand. To prevent this, one must:- maintain good ventilation- use regularly-avoid all direct source of heat- oil regularly-control the too dry or too humid air of the kitchen or storing room.
